Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences Welcomes a New International Partner: Mongolian University of Science and Technology

On September 7, Tsolmonbaatar˙D, Vice President of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, visited Honder College of Arts and Sciences. Wang Jiali,Vice President of Honder College,warmly welcomed him on behalf of the College. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on inter-university exchanges,talent development, faculty and student exchanges, academic research, and other areas of potential cooperation.

Vice President Wang Jiali welcomed Vice President Tsolmonbaatar˙D and introduced the history of Honder College,  its academic and disciplinary development,and its achievements in international education in recent years. She noted that the College remains committed to an open approach to education and distinctive development,and has established cooperative relationships with universities in several countries. She gave a detailed introduction to the development of Darkhan College in Mongolia, as well as the exchanges and cooperation between Honder College and Mongolia. She stated that Honder College will continue to deepen its commitment to an open and international approach to education, actively promote exchanges and cooperation with the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, and facilitate complementary strengths and educational resources between the two institutions. Together, they will contribute to the development of education in China and Mongolia.

Vice President Tsolmonbaatar˙D expressed his appreciation for Honder College’s warm reception and introduced the history of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, as well as its strengths in various academic disciplines. He noted that, as a renowned university of science and technology in Mongolia, the university has developed strong expertise in fields such as engineering and technology, information technology, and mining and mineral resources, and has established distinctive strengths and characteristics in its educational programs. He expressed his hope that the two institutions would fully leverage their respective strengths and continue to deepen cooperation in areas such as joint research and talent development, achieving further fruitful outcomes in the future.

Following the discussion, Vice President Wang Jiali and Vice President Tsolmonbaatar˙D  signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two institutions. The two sides then exchanged gifts and took a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
