From November 5 to 12, 2023, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan successfully organized a visit to China for a Pakistani “Generation Z” (Gen Z) delegation consisting of 10 young representatives.
The visit aimed to enhance Pakistani youth’s understanding of China’s history, culture, economic development, and social transformation, while promoting greater communication and friendship between young people from China and Pakistan.
As an important component of China-Pakistan people-to-people exchanges, the program provided Pakistani young representatives with opportunities to experience China’s traditional culture, modern innovation, and development achievements firsthand.
The visit demonstrated the important role of youth exchanges in strengthening mutual understanding and building a stronger foundation for the long-term friendship between the two countries.
During their visit, the Pakistani Gen Z delegation traveled to Beijing, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou, experiencing China’s development achievements from multiple perspectives.
In Beijing, the delegation visited rural development areas and learned about China’s efforts in improving rural living conditions, promoting agricultural modernization, and advancing rural revitalization.
In Hangzhou, the delegation visited Yucun Village in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, a representative example of China’s ecological development model.
