Cultural Exchange Promotes Mutual Learning among Civilizations: Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences and the University of the Punjab Jointly Hold International Academic Seminar

On the morning of June 26, 2023, the International Academic Seminar on China-Pakistan History and Culture, jointly organized by Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences and the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, was successfully held at Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences.

With the theme of historical dialogue, cultural exchange and mutual learning among civilizations, the seminar brought together scholars, teachers and students from both China and Pakistan. Participants exchanged views on the historical foundations of China-Pakistan friendship, cultural interaction between the two countries, educational cooperation, and the role of academic research in promoting people-to-people understanding.

As an important academic exchange activity, the seminar aimed to further deepen cooperation between Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences and Pakistani higher education institutions. It also provided a meaningful platform for scholars and students to explore the shared values of cultural respect, academic dialogue and educational collaboration.

During the seminar, participants discussed the long-standing friendship between China and Pakistan from multiple perspectives, including history, culture, education and regional studies. The event highlighted that cultural exchange is not only an important part of international cooperation, but also a key way to enhance mutual understanding among young people and academic communities.

The successful holding of this seminar further strengthened academic ties between the two institutions and enriched the College’s international exchange activities. It also created new opportunities for future cooperation in joint research, faculty communication, student exchange and cultural programs.

Looking ahead, Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences will continue to expand cooperation with Pakistani universities and research institutions. Through academic seminars, cultural activities and educational programs, the College will further promote mutual learning between Chinese and Pakistani civilizations and contribute to the development of China-Pakistan friendship.
