Announcements/The college’s 6th Slimming Training Program is recruiting participants from all faculty members and students.
The 6th Slimming Training Program of Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences is about to start! We are now recruiting participants from all faculty and students of the college. The registration deadline is 21:00 on April 7th.

“Weight management” has become a popular national topic. In June 2024, 16 departments including the National Health Commission jointly issued the Implementation Plan for the “Weight Management Year” Campaign, officially launching a three-year special weight management initiative.
Against this backdrop, the college’s ongoing Slimming Training Program has achieved remarkable results and gained wide recognition from all sectors of society: in November 2024, it won the Excellent Project, Most Popular Project among Students, and Premium Project awards in the “I Do Practical Things for Students” selection held by the Communist Youth League Committee of the Autonomous Region; in May 2025, it received the Bronze Award at the Hohhot Volunteer Service Competition; and in September 2025, it was interviewed and reported by Xinhua News Agency.

The 5th session held in the autumn and winter of 2025 achieved outstanding results: participants in the Slimming Training Camp lost an average of 4.175 kg, and members of the Slimming Support Camp lost an average of 2.625 kg. The top-performing student lost as much as 10.85 kg , setting a new record since the launch of the program.
Building on the successful experience of previous sessions, this session will continue to be held in two formats: “Slimming Training Camp” and “Slimming Support Group”.
Slimming Training Camp
Training will be conducted mainly in the form of group team sessions. The college will assign a professional coaching team to lead participants in weight-loss training. The total training period will last two months, covering activities including but not limited to jogging, brisk walking, aerobics, and equipment training. Dietary management will be implemented during training, with participants required to check in and report their daily food intake. Weight loss and body shaping goals will be achieved through increased exercise, a balanced diet, as well as group and individual competitions.
1. Registration Requirements
Please fill in all items truthfully, disclose your physical condition, obey management, be willing to participate in various sports training, and maintain self-discipline with a balanced diet during the program. Applicants must have a BMI (Body Mass Index) significantly higher than 25.BMI = Weight (kilograms) ÷ Height (meters) squared.
2. Registration Method
Students interested in joining this Slimming Training Camp are requested to scan the QR code below to fill out the questionnaire, answer all questions, and provide basic personal information and contact details to complete registration. The organizing committee will conduct an initial screening of applications and contact selected faculty and students.

Slimming Support Group
The program mainly consists of independent daily training by individuals, supplemented by three-meal daily check-ins, group competitions, and mutual supervision. The total training period lasts two months. Participants arrange their own training time according to their academic schedule and check in after completing daily exercises, which include brisk walking, jogging, and various fitness activities. The goal of maintaining health through fitness is achieved by increasing physical activity and following a balanced diet.

Please fill in all information truthfully, declare your physical condition, obey the management, be willing to participate in sports training, and practice self-discipline with a reasonable diet during the training period.
Registration Method
Students who wish to join the Slimming Support Group may scan the QR code below to complete the questionnaire, answer all questions, and provide basic personal information to register. The organizing committee will conduct preliminary screening and contact selected faculty and students.

Note: The organizing committee will conduct interviews with faculty and students who pass the preliminary screening, provide pre-training sessions, and sign participation agreements before the official training begins.
