In his remarks, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that China and Pakistan share a long-standing and resilient strategic partnership, often described as an “all-weather friendship.” He noted that the China–Pakistan Business Forum was organized to further advance this comprehensive strategic cooperation and to explore new avenues for economic collaboration.

He further highlighted that in recent years, both countries have continued to move forward together amid a changing global landscape, particularly through the high-quality development of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This flagship initiative has played a significant role in strengthening infrastructure connectivity, promoting trade, and enhancing regional economic integration.

The Prime Minister also expressed Pakistan’s commitment to working closely with China to build an even closer China–Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, contributing positively to broader international cooperation and shared global development goals.

The forum concluded with a shared recognition of the importance of sustained dialogue between government and business communities, as well as continued efforts to deepen practical cooperation, promote investment opportunities, and enhance people-to-people and institutional exchanges between the two countries.
